Nope I knew about the health consciousness of the Boulderites but wanted to hear it from the everyday person and not from some reading. Well I have lived in DC, Pittsburgh, VA, MD, and Los Angeles so there will be a lot of comparing.

Basically most other questions aside we're just trying to figure out if this is a good place to raise a family even with the university aspect right there.

Boulder is very health conscious and especially food conscious. If you are into homeopathic medicine or other forms of alternative medicine, Boulder is for you.

Boulder is brighter and cleaner than Pittsburgh, but again, it's not a major metro of 2+million people, so it's like comparing apples to oranges.

Thanks for all the help everyone. My wife and I visited the area this past weekend and are going to be moving there later this summer.
