Some people have a different group to blame each week. It's getting old, but I guess when your life consists of sitting home and being brainwashed into thinking you are righteous and you have a chance to be a moral legend in your own mind for doing absolutely nothing, it's to be expected.

I'd like to see a "passport" that can be voluntarily required by individual businesses, vs. something the city imposes on the businesses. There should be nothing at all controversial about that.

Please check the % vaxxed and %unvaxxed among the hospitalizations & deaths, and report back to us. MA DPH publishes these stats weekly.

So how did it work out? Great. Yesterday, I was able to show the state issued one on my phone to the host at the Hyatt at Ave. de Lafayette and then flashed it again at the Opera House. Easy Peasy.

Agree, but these measures are hardly intended to be forever. We all hope to get back to a place of normalcy. For all the kicking & screaming, Massachusetts' emergency restrictions lasted a total of 14 months (Mar 2020 - May 2021). It's going to be similar with vax passports till we get away from the community spread levels we have currently.

This is where I stand on them too. I’d like to hope that’s the direction we go sooner rather than later. We’ll see.

Here's an interesting article bemoaning the dearth of modern technology in enforcing proof of vaccination.

Yeah, we're a developed 1st world country still relying on 3rd world techniques dating to the days of pen and paper.

I don't think it applies to takeout, just dine in.

So apparently you can only spread COVID if you are sitting down and eating, but not if standing in a line in the same restaurant to get takeout? Such nonsense.
