If you're a fan of older actresses, I recommend By Myself, Lauren Bacall's autobiography. I read the original version published in 1978, since updated. Another one I want to read, Katherine Hepburn's life story.

Yes, Bacall's autobiography was interesting, and there are others that are equally good of some of the 40s-60s actors you might consider.

I agree with tigerlily and ontheroad ...I love reading these! I have no idea why I find them so entertaining, but I can't put them down once I start one.
