Now who's being semi-hypocritical. Everyone has a right to an opinion, but then you say "but I have made up my mind to stay out of the N.O. forum , as I'm sure my opinions would not be welcome there . I can relate to that." Your opinion is your opinion, it doesn't have to be agreed with or accepted. Since everyone has a "right to their own", each should be respected as such. Get over yourself. Some of you are extremely sensitive and what makes it worse is that you only seem to call out the New Orleans posters. Some of the Baton Rouge posters have shared the same sentiments of what they'd like to see in BR's future and the probability of it happening. I don't see calls for them to get up and leave. I don't know what New Orleans did to some of you people, but get over it. It's starting to look like an inferiority complex.

Just as you dislike B.R. , I probably dislike N.O. even more ,
What's new? This is no secret. To be honest, that's probably one of the main things fueling this thread besides us continuing to respond to you.

Annie and WestBanknola. Two non-Baton Rouge residents doing their best to tear down this forum. Bravo.

Funny coming from a guy commenting in a forum where he doesn't live. Now ours going to tell Baton Rouge posters what we can't say?

Wow , I choose to stay out of a particular forum so as not to cause trouble , and I get berated for it . Why are you N.O. folk so hostile toward B.R. people ? YOU'RE the ones " leaving home " to start a fight . WE live here . Oh yeah , I forgot . You " have a right " to . Whatever .

Humbra...
You are full of it. Yes indeed. I tell you what, find a post where I have outright bashed Baton Rouge. Some of you people can really be ridiculous at times. Just read this thread from page 1. Every post that mentions New Orleans does so in a negative context. In this thread alone, we've been labeled rude, crummy, filthy, and crime ridden. Let's exclude the fact that BR is the most violent city in the state and has a higher violent crime index than NO overall. According to the FBI we only outnumber you all in murders. You see any NO posters making a scene about that? Nope. All it took was someone saying that BR had the worst traffic that they've seen in Louisiana or for a city it's size and the thread went to Hell. What's crazy is that a person who lives in BR and isn't from NO made the comment, even crazier is the fact that LaDOTD statistics back up that very claim.

The insults and negativity are not confined to this thread only . It's a pattern that is obvious . But , I see your post above is full of the same things you accuse me of .

rcp11889 and I are the only posters from New Orleans that I know of posting in the Baton Rouge forum. As far as I know rcp11889 lives there and shares his/her experiences and I usually see him/her clarify that it's usually opinion. I tend to ask questions or share my opinion from what I've seen. Who exactly are these hostile New Orleanians? Do a search for the words "New Orleans" on the Baton Rouge forum and watch some of the negative comments that come up. Search "Baton Rouge" on the New Orleans forum.

I'm done.....

Baton Rouge has problems, New Orleans has problems. People hate as well as love both cities. Doesn't matter who says it, suck it up, get over it. Pathetic.
