Which Baseball Team Has The Most 'Fair Weather' Fans?
Baseball is my favorite sport, especially the Chicago Cubs. I think that Cubs fans are mostly loyal even when the team is doing poorly.
Most fans of any team will cheer when the team is winning.
But where are the fans that boo and jeer when their team loses, then cheer and applaud when their team wins.

Dodgers, Rockies, Diamondbacks the Cubs. Even though the Cubs have a following larger than the state of Wisconsin they also attract an absurd amount of "FWF's"

Of the teams I have first hand experience with, I'd have to say the Braves.

Prior to the '90s I'd go to their games and feel like I had the stadium to myself. They start winning and it fills up. (I know, big shock, people like winners.)

They've had a few tougher years the last couple of seasons and again, not so packed.

The Yankees? I always thought that Yankee fans were the most loyal of all.

I went to the Phils-Yanks series in May when the Yanks were looking mediocre and the place was mostly Phillies fans. If you didn't step outside the stadium and get the rude reminder you were in the Bronx, you'd have thought you were in Philly with the lack of Yankee fans.
The Dodgers can't sell seats until they bring in super stars like Manny. I've been to several games at Dodger stadium and used to live in SoCal and the fans couldn't care less about the team if they're not in contention.

Dodgers and Braves come to mind.

Yankees and Red Sox do not have fair weather fans, but it is clear that baseball means a little too much to their fanbases, which may seem to outsiders like being fair weather.

In the late 80s and early 90s, Yankee Stadium was half-empty on most nights.

How can baseball ever mean too much to anyone?

houston astros! hell any team in any sport in the city of houston. if the team is winning the whole city has their back, lose a few in a row or what not and the whole city wants to string up the owner, coach, players, trainers, water boy, mascot, cheerleaders (ok maybe note the cheerleaders). you get the idea.

worst fan base in any city i have ever lived. i see more support for high school teams then these guys half the time.
