Even though it's early in the season, the off-season moves don't look as bad as most people had thought. I think they are headed in the right direction but still two years away from being competitive. Trade Willingham and Morneau in July for more young arms and the Twins maybe be back on top in 2015.

Even though Worley has yet to win a game, you still got the best of that deal.
Former Minnesota Twins star Chuck Knoblauch was arrested Wednesday night on charges that he allegedly assaulted his ex-wife.
The Twins issued a statement Thursday saying that Knoblauch's scheduled induction into the team's Hall of Fame had been canceled. The team was slated to honor Knoblauch on Aug. 23 at Target Field.
The Twins did not directly address the details of the arrest in their statement but did say their decision was made "in light of recent news reports" and after "direct communication" with Knoblauch.
"There are no plans to reschedule," Twins President Dave St. Peter said. "I suppose over time this could be revisited, but at this time from the Twins' organization perspective, we currently have no intent to reschedule."
Knoblauch has been arrested, not convicted, but the Twins decision following "direct communication" with Knoblauch certainly suggests that he must have confessed his guilt to them. And their announcing that they had no intention of rescheduling the induction suggest that the Twins front office was especially offended by the circumstances.
Second time around for Knoblauch, he was arrested and convicted of assaulting a previous wife in 2010. He was given a year's probation in that case.
I was pretty sure this wasn't the first case for Knoblauch. He seems to be pretty accurate in throwing at women, because he sure wasn't hitting first base when he was a Yankee. His fielding at second baseball was so awful they had to put him in the outfield. Shame he went from Twins star and solid playoff performer in New York, to this.
He probably will be as long as his wife doesn't decide to drop the charges. He got a year's probation for his attack on his previous wife, so it isn't likely that some judge is going to conclude that giving him an even longer suspended sentence will work now that he is a repeat offender.
Of course when he gets out, all the usual career opportunities for erring celebrities will be available. Chuck goes on all the talk shows on a "Forgive me America" tour to promote a confessional book where he reveals that...gasp...he was abused as a child. And that is what made him into a wife beater. And, oh, it is also responsible for all those bad throws to first when he was a Yankee.
