Likely not. They've scaled down SLC to a point since the merger, and DL is loyal to SLC. It seems to make money for them, considering the O&D is high and they own that airport.
Think of what DL is doing up in SEA as to how UA runs their SFO (and to a certain extent, LAX) hub(s) in relation to DEN. The only difference is UA is not as profitable overall as DL, and seems to be hurting since the merger with CO.
I'm also willing to bet that the SLC hub for DL is more profitable than the DEN hub for UA as there is straight up more competition in DEN with Southwest.
