Police in West Yorkshire, England, have reopened a traffic accident investigation after video of the hair raising incident surfaced on YouTube, officials said.

The YouTube clip shows a small Renault being pushed down the highway by a tanker truck at speeds exceeding 60 mph. The harrowing scene was captured on a cell phone.

heh, he knew... and she may not have deserved that kind of ride, but he didn't do that unprovoked.

i'll be the first to say small cars are notorious for disobeying traffic laws. they cut bigger cars off and generally do crazy things. she probably tried to cut him off and he decided not to stop.

I dont' think she'll be cutting a semi off again in her lifetime.

They could turn that into a carnival ride and make a fortune. I think attempted murder should be filed against that moron.

There is absolutely NO WAY that truck driver did NOT know he was pushing that car!

He needs to be brought up on criminal charges. Period.

YEP! There's NO way he could've not known. Especially since the truck was a cabover with excellent frontal visibility.
Heck, he could've felt and heard her car. I'm betting there's a "rest of the story" that will come out; a road rage incident or relationship-gone-wrong involved...

Actually, the CAR DRIVER is at fault in more than 70% of all car/truck crashes, says the University of Michigan's Transportation Institute... That doesn't excuse this clown trucker, though.

I can understand why she wasn't calling for help during the incident, I suppose. Probably pure panic.

But why she didn't report it later is beyond me.

This whole thing is just very, very weird.
