"License plates for individually owned vehicles, light trucks and motorcycles typically expire on the owner's birthday and not at the end of the month. The Secretary of State usually mails renewal notices 45 days before your plates expire."
A grace period would be nice. I am moving the month after my registration is due. I do not want to have to pay in the state I am in and the one I am moving to...the one I am in has a thirty day grace period but the one I am moving to I technically can't park or drive in without fear of being pulled over and fined? wtf?!. I am either out ~$600, driving around illegally, or not paying in the state I move to (which is illegal). great what do i do??
