I really like the Camaros. The styling is so sleek. My vote is Camaro!

the camaro is alright, but i liked the earlier first gen camaro styled renderings rather than the cadillac angular design. they do say they are using the classic camaro styling, but its not enough. too many angles, not enough curves.

the challenger has more classic lines(love the curves and the rear hips).

chevy just cant get it right anymore really. they are so far out of touch. they come out with great concepts(like the GTO) and then they screw it up(like the production GTO). the only truely attractive sports car gm has is the solstice/sky, but that was taken from the Opel line of cars in europe anyways and you have to pay a lot extra for the actual performance model. it depresses me because, other than a maxima, ive owned all gm vehicles(72 chevelle, 94 z28, 99 saturn sedan). they've lost the ability to produce an inexpensive sportscar and the sportscars they do put out arent anything spectacular

Camaro looks too much like Corvette light mixed with some cadillac. Dodge is definitely better styling, Great retro look it actually looks like a Challeneger. However I voted for the Camaro becuase Dodge makes nothing but juk quality wise now. Great looking cars that fall apart as you drive down the street. I use to love Dodge. However my last Dodge which will be my last literally fell apart as we drove it brand new. Door handles, trim, even engine parts fell off from time to time. The clincher was whenthe transmission pan almost fell off because all but two of the bolts had come out. The most dangerous was when the tie rod end or control arm fell off while we were driving in the mountains.

This was brand new mind you. No one had worked on the transmission, or any other part. This is the way they sold it.

Sorry Dodge would have to change dramatically before i would ever consider one again. I see no indication that they are changing. too bad, they have the most attractive designs of any US car maker.

I like both of them. But to me, it looks like the new Camaro is kind of a copy of the Challenger.

BTW, you know what the Challenger reminds me of? The old Opel Manta from the 70's.

Challenger by a million miles. That new Camaro is a rolling abortion, just like all the others before it. Ugly cars with decent motors, thats the jist of it.

I am torn as a new Mopar owner and being a former GM gal. I love the fact that Dodge came out with a coupe finally, (IMO the Charger should have had the option), and on the other I am glad that GM still is trying to have "it". All in all my vote will have to go to the long-awaited Comaro, the Challenger is just not very unique in it's styling from the rest of the current Dodge line. Sad. But true.

A friend of mine just got a 2008 Charger SRT8, he asked the dealer about the new Challenger. He was told that right now people would be willing to pay $20.000 over invoice for a new Challenger
