People love to do that, either to show off or just a mater of pride but I was thinking it may bot be very smart. At the gym I always wonder if I lose the key or have it stolen I am practically pointing them to the car.
Chevy bowtie is inlaid on the key fob for my 2015 Silverado LTZ. And no, I'm not going to pry it off.
However, if someone steals your keys with a fob attached, all they have to do is walk the parking lot while pressing the lock button, chances are (depending on the parking lot size) they will find your car/truck in a minute or two when the vehicle beeps. Just as fast as walking in the lot to find a Chevy (and car or truck), Ford (car or truck), etc., and then standing next to it and pressing the button to see if it is the correct vehicle.
Not on the key ring, but on the key itself showing the brand, not the exact model.
Whatever it is on the key or on the key ring, I wouldn't worry about losing the key and the logo pointing to the car. All the person had to do is to press the panic button on the remote to find the car.

You could also just go out and find the car anyways just by pushing the button.
My key fob and car key is all in one and it says Subaru on it. Not my choice.
Yes my Lexus has one. Plus I have the Lexus L for a keychain for it. I love my Lexus and am proud to drive it. Why wouldn't I show it off?? Besides no one comes near me at the gym so I'm not worried. Plus it does have GPS tracking if it gets stolen...
Lol, why aren't they coming near you? It's not like you are scary looking!
I have fobs with the logo and and some have fobs and keys with the logo, depending upon the vehicle. Never thought of it as any sort of security risk, not given the numbers of vehicles of the same make in my area.

Well, if it is my remote I have to literally stand next to the car to make it work. Panic button? Forget about it. By the time it honks the horn I have already found the car. And no, it is not the battery. But I get your point.

Not much choice.
The fob came with the logo on it.
