TMV $6019 - $2903 trade means the deal at those prices would cost you $3,116.

I always negotiate from wholesale price, up when I buy used from a dealer. I don't care how much the dealer asking price is and certainly don't consider it as a starting point.

Where do you get the wholesale price, or do you assume the price you're negotiating from is the actual wholesale price?
