It IS a shame - especially considering I replaced the radiator and it likely wasn't the culprit. Part of me wants to walk back there with them, get under the car and see exactly what is going on. Doubt they would allow that.

they might, you just have to ask. it is a liability deal though, so they may warn you about all kinds of bad things that can happen to you in the shop.
