Personally, I think you are letting them off WAY too easy, I would be on their doorstep jumping up and down.

Ive thought about calling Ford up myself just to see what they say, Id like to ask a couple questions. If I should be at all concerned and what to listen/watch for.

But I believe it was a compression test.

So far, since picking it up, Ive driven it on a few 30 mile trips. Mileage seems about the same to me, and it seems to be driving okay with no problems.

Maybe its letting them off too easy, but they did offer to pay for what ever damage was done. I was actually impressed how the company handled it. And if Ford says from what they can tell, there is no damage, what else can I do? Oh and Ford just looked at it and ran the test, the company who caused the issue was the oil change/car wash place, Splash.

People need to realise that when you own a car you are assuming certain "risks" If you can not deal with these risks and the established way problems are handled you should not own a car. Accidents happen and if you can not accept that one can happen to you it is best not to drive. When one party "injures" another party the accepted legal solutions are there. It is not reasonable to demand more than you can prove you deserve to be "made whole" It is a legal game we all must play if we own a car.

Tilt11 just letting u know, I once changed the oil in my truck and had used a cheap filter, when I pulled old filter and installed new I didn't notice the gasket from the old filter was stuck on and installed the new filter. Later I took of down the road hearing my valves clatterin like hell and oil lite on. I killed engine, coastin to side of road, yep a STREAM OF OIL ALL THE WAY BACK TO HOUSE. Went under truck and saw what happened, then walked back to house, got sum more oil, droped filter and installed new. Yep not much of anything in block, well I got luck, cause I ran truck another 170,000 miles before tradein it in, and it wasn't usin any oil when I got rid of it, hope all works out as good for u.
