I own an Acura however, as far as status and market share, I would say Lexus hands down. I've always been a fan of the GS and the LS rides like a dream. For performance, it would be Infinity. The G37 is a rocket.
With Acura, it seems like they are a bit confused as to which direction they want to go to. I am going to say that Acura offers the biggest bang for the buck but is this what a luxury division should strive for?
My family has had a couple Infinitis over the years. Q45, G35, etc. They were ok. They've got some good looking SUV's now, but they are pricey for what you get. I think the Acura MDX is an incredible value compared to any SUV offered by Infiniti or Lexus.
As far as sedans/sport coupes go, I would pick the G37S over anything by Lexus or Acura.
My mother currently has an Acura RL. Quality is lacking on some things, especially considering it was about $55k new. The dealership experience has been poor as well.
For name brand status, it's definitely Lexus among these three. You'll never catch me driving a Lexus though, too bland for my tastes.
You wouldn't catch many of us driving any of those brands, but that's not the poll question.
Who are you speaking for?
I would drive any of the three. But I don't vote for brands very much. I am interested in specific vehicles.
Lexus is superbly built, conservative and biased toward luxury, but they are trying to add more sport to several of their cars. I would happily drive an IS350 of IS-F.
Infiniti has always been sportier than Lexus. Perhaps just a bit less fit and finish. I think they have regressed in styling as the current models are all a bit exaggerated and overdone. We own a 2007 M35 and I think it is an excellent car.
Acura has misfired a bit over the last few years, though one constant has been overall quality and reliability. The MDX is a very good mid-size SUV. I think the TSX is a nice car, especially with the V6. And I'm anxious to see the new NSX in a year or two. I own a 1997 NSX and it is my favorite car ever.

I was addressing the last line of the post above me. Nothing more. Not speaking for anyone.
Think Lexus is a great car and ideal choice for what it is supposed to be. In fact, I bought my mother one last year. She loves it.
None of these brands have cars that fit my needs or tastes, however. Too bland overall.
I drive a 2012 Infiniti G37 and love it My neighbor has an Acura and Lexus, and while I'm sure they're fine cars, I can't really picture myself driving either one. There's just a little bit more machismo to the Infiniti, I feel.
Lexus continues to handily beat its Japanese competitors imo, but is what I'd call the Japanese Mercedes-Benz - more focused on luxury than performance. Infiniti is clearly the second and is most closely related to BMW with its more sport-oriented offerings. Infinitis are great if you want a car that has a more sporting character, but now Lexus has its F line and is getting into the sporty-sedan game as well.
Acura is easily last and its cars are more closely related to upscale Hondas, as Honda continues to more or less badge-engineer many of its Hondas as Acuras. Acura's cars are mostly fwd Hondas with leather and navigation - they are great if you want a really nice Honda and a luxury service department vs a Honda service department, but Acura's dismal sales numbers highlight Honda's lack of conviction when making a luxury car.
If you want the most bang for the buck, there's the Hyundai Genesis and Equus.
My last few cars, owned or leased- 12 Infiniti's and 2 Lexus
1990 LS400
1993 Q45
1994 Q45T - 2 of them a black and a pearl one
1997 Q45
2002 Q45
2003 G35 coupe
2006 Q45
2006 M45 S
2008 G37 Coupe
2008 QX56
2010 QX56
2010 ES350
2011 M37
Guess which one I voted for....same as with my pocket book. I also sold two friends at dinner one night on Q45's over their Accura Legends
My Infiniti's have always started and never left me stranded.... No issues other than a flat tire or two and a couple of batteries going dead after lights left on all night.
I just bought my first Lexus, and without question it is the best car I have ever driven. I absolutely love it!!!
