So guys I have to ask, which one do you find to be the most luxurious and successful? I currently own and Infiniti I35 and would say Lexus definitely beat Infiniti back in the late 80's when both were introduced. The LS400 was trumping the very unique Q45.

It seems as though throughout the 90's Lexus moved even further up while Infiniti also worked it's way up the line. Acura always stood behind in my opinion. They never offered anything to compete with the Q45 or LS400.

Whats your guys opinion on these three automakers?

Josh

Really? There's no question who is the most successful. It isnt open for debate or discussion.

Lexus.

The other two are struggling for very distant second.

All three have the ability to make a decent car and one that I'd own or have owned but only Lexus has done it on a more consistent basis for the public at large. I think infiniti has more style and is a bit more aggressive when it comes to performance in general (as well as styling) Lexus and acura tend to be more conservative (NSX and LFA notwithstanding).

If I was forced to pick from the three, it'd be Lexus. No question or hesitation.
Acura has gotten effed up ugly with their designs. Infiniti? Really? Really?
Not to mention the other two brands cannot hold a candle to Lexus from a customer service standpoint.

I love the performance of my I35, silky smooth acceleration. Nice ride, more firm for the curvy roads and the interior is well appointed. Most people love the fact that the back seats are heated, and I have to say I love my heated steering wheel. Two of my neighbors have Lexus's. one being a es300 and other being es330. Both are same body style just different v6. They look like sharp cars. Acura just can't get their ducks in order.

Hard to say, who I like most...

For performance/handling between the 3 I'd go for Infinity (had a G35 and loved it, closest of the Japanese cars trying to match the BMW in a mass produced vehicle).

For style I'd go for the Acura (had MDX and it is in my book best value SUV for money).

Lexus while the top of the crop in all luxury vehicles for reliability, it is a bland (too safe for me) design and in general geared towards older people (no risk in their design).

Sure there are exceptions like the NSX Acura, Lexus LFA (definitely in the sports performance category).

Between the 3 of them, in my book (everybody is different here), for the responsive/handling aspect I'd go with Infinity, for style with Acura and for the reliability combined with established "old" classy look, with Lexus.

Since handling in a sports sedan wins, I'd stick with Infinity (between the 3 here, cause in real life I'll stick with BMW).

I would choose Infiniti out of the three, basically because the other two seem very bland to me (except for the LFA and ISF, and the new NSX)

Well all 3 are pretty good, but acura seems to be falling farther behind. Lexus is the best, but Infiniti is nice and you will have a unique car because infiniti doesn't sell a lot except for the g series which are very plentiful in my area. i have always loved their looks and the exhaust note. Otherwise any other infiniti will take a real hit on depreciation because of the lack of demand.
I really like the is350 of lexus. Seems like a reasonable alternative to BMW and is pretty fast if you manually shift it. Ihad a 1990 q45 and love the direction infinity took vs lexus with it. Great car. I later got a 1994 q45 and was not that pleased with it. I then went to a lexus gs400 and that was a fantastic car. I am now in a LS430 which is a great car but does remind me of an old folks car. Both Lexus have been utterly reliable and upkeep was not so bad because nothing seem to go wrong with them.
