Thank you so much for the responses! We have driven the car quite a bit since we brought it... took a few out of town weekend trips and whatnot. I will take it in and get the oil checked, and changed/light reset if it is needed.

Every time I buy a car or truck the first thing I do is change oil, flush radiator, check ac, belts etc. Better safe than sorry.
