I have a set of 16x7 aluminum wheels from my old Mark VIII. I'm just trying to clear out the garage. I've tried various ads to sell them for $100-$150, with little interest. The scrapper would be my last option. I've sold several sets of wheels through craigslist or Ebay for decent money, so there's definitely a market for used wheels. I think these wheels just aren't very desirable now, after the car they were designed for has been out of production for 14 years. And they apparently don't fit many other cars, based on the little research I've done. So it may be time to get scrap value for them, which is about $50-$60, and use the space they're now taking up in my garage for a better purpose.
I'm just making a last ditch effort to see if I can get any more $$$ out of them. Any suggestions?
Generally forums require a certain number of posts before posting an ad. It's been at least 9 years since I was active on any Lincoln websites so I doubt my ID is even active on any of them, and I don't recognize that one. Lincolns of Distinction is the only one I remember posting on.
But, it's an avenue I haven't looked into. Definitely worth a few minutes of my time. Thanks.
