I used to love the car brochures. Back in the early 50's, we kids would eagerly await the new model in September, and go around after school to the new car dealers, and get the brochures. (They were happy to give them to us. Gas stations gave us road maps, too.) They were beautiful things to page through. We had a dealer in town for every US make except Cadillac, Chrysler and Packard. I even had the Kaiser, Frazer and Tucker brochures.
great website. can't wait to spend hours perusing it.
The 1987 Cadillac brochure claims that the Sedan de Ville Touring sedan has "added horsepower and torque" for more spirited driviing. The truth is that I never heard this particular model having more horsepower over another model of the same year. False advertising?

LOl maybe it had 2 more HP and 3 more ft pounds of torque then it would be an honest add just not a noticeable thing esp in a 4200lbs Cadillac
