What truck race? Don't feel bad though, It took me until 62 laps last nite before I realized they were showing last years truck race. I kept wondering why the hell Kyle was driving the 51 when he qualified the 18 truck.
I was watching little bit last night too as I was surfing around the channels. When I saw the Indian casino logo on Shrub's hood, I knew something was not right. They just dropped all Nascar sponsorships last week.
Well, here we go. Race #1 is the non-points Bud ShootOut (the former Busch Clash, now with new entry requirements. Apparently, if you have a pulse, you're in the field!)
In general, the race was ok. They got a little racey out there, but it's sad when the race is only 73.5 laps long. One race so far this year and we can't get a race to the finish.
Sorry Nascar, you still don't have it right!
I agree they didn't get it right. It was like two different races one mutli laps long and then a two lap race in the cup race. Its a real deliemma to get a race that ends in a finish it seems without to many restictions on racing. It reminds me of the F1 racing i love that the technology caught up with and eliminated any racing other than the pits. Its a hard thing to figure out how to have racing without having a demo derby really.I don't think the multi white flag ;green flag worked too well really. To me its seemd like they needed at elast ten laps on a restart to the finish ;not two laps that almost assures a demo type finish by drivers.
