Now that the field is set, and one race is done. Who do you think will win the Chase?

Week 1 down and IMO, 5 of the drivers are in trouble. 8-12th - Points are hard to make up. Newman falls out next week and after week #5 it will be a 2 horse race, the 5 & 48.

Sticking with my prediction that the 48 will get his 4th.

I'm still hanging on hope that Jeff Gordon's best tracks are ahead of him. Real bummer about NH though.

I almost clicked on Mark Martin, love that guy. But I need to keep my loyalty behind Jeff, win or lose. I hate fair weather fans!!

OTH, if Jeff is so far out of it in a few weeks, then Mark will be the man!!

Whoever wins the most points on the track. Unless of course he's a baaaaaaaaaaaaaaad boy and says/does something NASCAR doesn't like off the track. Then they'll take points away and someone else will win. What a way to run a racing series

Carl Edwards' performance disgusts me after what he was able to accomplish last year

I'm not a fan of Carl, but it seems like the entire Rousch/Fenway organization has lost it's direction. Last year they had the new COT figured out, this year the rest of the teams figured them out too. Rousch/Fenway didn't step up their game.

After NASCAR slammed Jr a while back for his remarks, there really hasn't been any drivers running their mouths. As for "bending the rules", there were a couple issues back in the spring, but after NASCAR slammed them, everyone has been playing nice.

Slightly off topic: Have you heard that NASCAR asked a judge to have Jeremy Mayfield examined by a NASCAR sanctioned psychiatrist?

Also there are several long time "friends" that have said that Jeremy smoked Meth hundreds of times over the years.

Yeah cause they lost Mark Martin. Literally, wehn he left, Rousch Fenway hit the toilet. Yeah Carl Edwards did good last year battling with Kyle Busch but this year. Rousch is handing the Chase over on a silver platter to Hendrick. Normally they can put up some kind of a fight. But this year nope
