So much for that plan!!! JJ took a big points hit today. Hooray! Let's have some competition in the final two weeks.
(I don't know if you're a JJ fan or not. I'm just happy it's not as much of a runaway as it was this morning.)
I'm a JJ fan because he is an awesome driver, but I'm glad he took the points hit. I really would like to see a heated battle in Homestead between the top three drivers.
I rather see Jeff or Mark win this time though...I think JJ will have plenty more opportunities.

That is the reason I'd love to see Mark win, how many more chances will he have if any? JJ will be around for another 10+ years racing.
I have a feeling Mark will do well in Phoenix, maybe pull off a win. He knows this probably will be his last best chance for a Championship. The racing "Gods" have given him a chance now.
But still no matter if Mark wins Sunday, something has to happen to JJ, like another wreck or blown engine.
I'll support a blown engine for the 48 this week. Go MM!
