There you go, put the Southern 500 back where it belongs. I would also like to see Kentucky Speedway get a Cup date.

Pocono can easily be a 100, 150 lap race. There's no reason at all keep it 500 miles.

I guess i'm partial as I love Pocono. People are always saying that there needs to be variety, yet you want to take away the most unique track NASCAR races on. I think that Pocono is exciting in the terms that a road course is exciting. Less side by side racing, but it's great to see the drivers wrestle the cars through the turns. You can get two turns right, but never all three, which always makes for great racing IMO.

If anything, take BOTH California races away. I don't think I have watched a whole California race since it debuted. Replace it with Darlington and Rockingham.

I love to see one more restricter plate track build and put on the schedule, maybe somewhere in the NorthWest since there are no races in that region.

Even though I understand the market over saturation situation with Kentucky Speedway I do think it is one of the most exciting tracks currently run by the trucks and what ever the Busch series is called now

How about eliminating the C.O.T Years back you could at least root for the the car, Ford, Chev, Dodge, Etc, but today they all look the same.
i think that the restrictor plate raceing leads to more accidents due to the fact that the cars tend to travel in tighter bunches

Not sure exactly how your comment has to do with the OP, but I do agree with the OP that we could drop one of the Pocono races and bring in a short track in it's place.

Pocano is a fine race, they should just give a mandatory 40 laps to go pit stop. You have 3 different corners, built with three very different banking.

I used to go to the Michigan race, it is kind of boring.

NASCAR is about uniformity, all of the new tracks are similar. That mile and a half oval is the new kind of track.

I've long said that all racing associations should back off the speed limit. If they want to drive a car at 300 MPH, by god let um. Racing is a dangerous sport, you can't get away from that.

Drop a Pocono race and replace it with another road course. Maybe Sebring or Homestead.

A NASCAR COT could not make two laps at Sebring. Two of them racing could not complete ONE!
