His car was incredibly fast last night! Maybe his boss spent his Birthday money jacking that thing up with AMP...It almost seemed too easy. Congrats on a nice win though! How many more 1 1/2 mile tracks left this year?? They sure can be snoozers though...Least the last 20 laps were somewhat interesting.
I guess to each his own, but there's 42 other drivers that would light up the track after they win and the fans love it! It should be all about the fans, they are what keeps this sport alive. So for the 42 class-less drivers, keep burning rubber and we'll keep supporting you
The more and more I watch Martin, the more I believe that he will be this year's Sprint Cup Champion.
If you recall the first few races this year where he had fast cars and was driving very well but got caught up in some wrecks, also I believe he had engine troubles once or twice.
Mark would probably have more than 4 wins by now.
When it gets to the Chase, Mark's experience along with HMS cars, Mark will be raising the trophy in Homestead in November.

Amen to that... Knock on wood let's hope that. Yeah he did have engine trouble the one race. I believe he was actually in contention to win that race. I think. that was his 4th win of the year. 39th in his career. one more and he's got 40 career wins And let us hope he is. As long as he can get and stay in the middle of the Chase drivers, and avoid the bubble positions
Bad call by the #5 team not to come in and top off when the #88 did at Michigan. Mark had a fast car, so at the worst probably would have had a top 10. Now he got a 31st place finish and is in serious trouble of dropping out of the Chase.
Guess Alan thought that lightning would strike twice as far as winning on gas fumes. Mark needs to point race, not take chances right now.
