I also thought the coverage was horrible but we watched the Direct TV Hotpass and downloaded the Sprint Race View. The hotpass was not that great but we got it for free for that race but the Sprint Race View was amazing. All of that together made the race a lot more watchable.

BTW, who else is sick of the Saving Grace commercials on TNT during every single commercial break? UGH!

I know I am almost 2 months late to this discussion. But I just now found it & had to comment. And I was there too. Right behind the start/finish line. And up until lap 110 the race was rather boring. I even turned to my mom at one point & said "this is boring". Me a race fan for 11 years, I have been to 5 cup races (will be 6 after Oct in Atlanta) & 1 (July 08 in Daytona) Nationwide race since Oct 2005.

The Nationwide race on Friday wasn't boring but the Cup race on Sat was. And I blame the COT it sucks. As far as coverage goes, I recorded it so we could look at it later, wasn't the best. But it could have been worse. You could have had to have set through watching Larry Mac saw someone in half while you could hear the race in the background. I am still ticked at that one.
