CW has been adding some major sports recently....PAC, ACC and LIV. Now NASCAR.

Hope they get some good talent in the booth by the in house NASCAR team....Alan Bestwick????

I'd LIKE Bestwick.. I don't understand why he doesn't seem to stick as a main play by play guy in NASCAR. He always seems to wind up with a company that doesn't have the rights. I think he's probably the best play by play guy for racing that there is right now.

My dream booth would be Bestwick, Benny Parsons and Ned Jarrett.

Not knocking some guys like Bob Jenkins, who was excellent.. even Wally I thought was good and I like Jeff Burton now.

I always hated TNN races because of Eli Gold. I also didn't care for Buck or Buddy Baker.. Those two were smart as can be, but their cadence and voices.. I didn't like listening to them.

But.. Bestwick is back at ESPN calling SRX.. And with the CW being a CBS/Warner/Paramount thing.. That wouldn't be likely. Though, we don't know his contract status or anything. He might be a 'freelancer' calling the SRX races.

So long as they don't go searching for Bill Weber.. Where ever he might be now. Let him stay there. Last reports were of him being a magician, but that was 12 years ago.

Don't know how old this is. https://www.allamericanspeakers.com/...ill+Weber/2879

This one ranks him as the 8th best magician in St Pete.. https://www.superpages.com/saint-pet...g-fl/magicians

Agree all the way around I liked Bestwick and Wally and Bill Weber was the worst!

Bestwick immediately came to mind. How he doesn’t have a job in NASCAR is beyond me.

He does SRX, but he said years ago he didnt like the schedule of half the race on one network, and didnt want to spend that much time away from home.

Good for Buescher! Glad to see another new winner for the season.
Outside of that, this has had to be one of the most boring racing action weekends of the year. With the exception of the 2nd-to-last lap of the truck race, Road America was a snooze fest. And Richmond? I don't think I have ever seen an exciting race there. That's one track that I would be okay with if it lost a race (or even both races).

Default Noah Gragson blew it.

Looks like Gragson is in deep do-do. Another case of Social Media Assisted Suicide. I don't think he'll be able to recover from this like Larson.

Cue the 1st Amendment "experts" in 3.. 2...

This is really no different than you or I doing unsavory crap on social media that makes our employers look bad. We're free to do it, but we're not free from the consequences of our actions. The only difference between Noah and us is probably several hundred thousand more followers.

In whose eyes is what makes it pathetic.... I didn't see the post or the context so it's hard to really judge if it was out of line, incorrect or just politically incorrect "woke". One must assume that in today's NASCAR anything that doesn't tow the politically correct line regarding BLM or George Floyd will not be tolerated, whether it is accurate or not.
