Hopefully Wallace gets a ride but as you say, who's going to pay?

Danica has had some rotten luck this year. I imagine she's probably done.
I'd say that Wallace might be a good fit with the 5 Hour Energy sponsorship, if they choose to stay.

Statistically she was a middle-of-the-pack racer in IndyCar, and she's a middle-of-the-pack racer in NASCAR. I keep hoping that a truly talented female racer will come up and start winning races so we can forget about Danica. She's extremely overrated.
kennseth might be the guy that give a mediocre team the boost they need to become a better team. it would be nice if he steps into the second car of a two car team and bring the other driver up as well. we shall see.

wallace might end up with a ride, probably not as good as he is capable of being, but again it might be one that if he does well with a mediocre ride, he can step up in a couple of seasons into a better ride.

danica is an interesting issue. she is doing well enough to keep her sponsors reasonably happy, but not really well enough to get the car she is in where it needs to be. but remember that there are a lot of middle of the pack drivers, many that had promise but never fulfilled that promise, jj yeley for instance, ricky stenhouse for another. yet these guys are still out there chugging along and making a living in this sport. i think as long as stewart is happy, danica isnt going anywhere.

Might want to stay there for a while Kyle, its the only series you can win in.

“Retirement is fast approaching, so I’m looking forward to that,” Busch quipped before explaining further. “When I get to 100 XFINITY wins, I’m done with XFINITY. So my retirement with XFINITY is fast approaching.”

I agree completely with your assessment of Danica; she was mid-pack in Indy cars and the same in Cup. So I'd say, is she overrated? I think the expectation was she'd be mid-pack in Cup and that's exactly where she races. Heck, a fair few thought she'd never actually stay/make it in Cup so if anything, she's done better than expected. Anyhoo, all these crashes this year have to make you wonder if it's worth it. And if she's thinking about starting a family driving Cup isn't going to work I wouldn't think. No idea if that's on her radar or not.

She's 35 now. Tick-tock.

Yeah.. 4 Poles, Third in points, leading the series in Top 5's, second in Top 10's.. Completely horrible year for him.

To be honest.. What I'd like to see is him take the points lead, have 5 more people win races, and the points leader not make the chase. Might convince them to get rid of this format.

Ricky Stenhouse actually won a race recently.

Ricky Stenhouse will be in the Chase.

Once the Chase starts, Danica will just be an irrelevant non-Chase car that gets lapped.

Stenhouse won 2 races. However... The caveat is that they were plate races. They still count so far as the standings and everything, but I don't think people particularly view them as winning drivers until they've won on a non-plate track.

Same with fuel mileage wins. They count.. But aren't viewed the same as a straight up win.

Well, she has probably the worst luck in Cup. And those plate tracks require luck. Hence wildcards that never win again somehow win a plate race or two.

What Kyle's done is very impressive. Granted he's almost always had superior cars/teams in Busch but still impressive to win that much.
