I agree, without Knaus there would probably not be 3 previous titles, much less 6.

It was the right call made by NASCAR officials. They actually delayed throwing the caution, but since the racecar was taking too long getting into pit road(lots of smoke), it became a hazard to the other drivers.

As for JJ's victory and the 7th championship - AMAZING!!!
He started the race from the last position, and ended up winning it(but he has done that before)!!
Great role model and inspiration to young kids.
Congrats also to Knaus and pit crew. Now JJ is part of the elite 7!!! PEJ

I just caught the Late Night Show with Stephen Colbert. Jimmie Johnson was his guest.

Stephen Colbert is a smarmy obnoxious jerk who thinks he is smarter than his guests. JJ stood up to him good and came out the winner of the two of them.

I never watch any of the late night shows when they have NASCAR drivers on. Non of these people are racing fans and look at NASCAR racing as a backwoods redneck sport.
They probably think F1 is the only real racing sport.

The only TV guy who understands NASCAR is Leno and we all know he retired from LN TV.
I forgot about Letterman, another race fan.

We could tell you, but then we'd have to kill you. But it's along the same reason why Stenhouse went into the inside wall head on and they continued to wait.

Again I'm happy for JJ since he's a good driver. Gotta give him credit for finishing strong.

Are you forgetting Brian Williams? He's a racing fan also.
