Really happy for Suarez. He definitely won that one. Hopefully he can grab a ride in cup. He deserves one. Time to dump some dead weight in cup anyway.

@the searchers - yeah I get what where you're coming from but even if JJ wins the 7th I think he'll be considered a notch below those other 2. Either way it would be something.

I see Lagano getting it. Would be neat if JJ got it, but I'm not a JJ fan. I really would like to see Kyle get it, just to shut up the naysayers about his Cup last year.

right now, unless something happens, i think edwards has the inside track to win the championship as he has been running upfront consistently today.

You can thank Carl for handing it to JJ. Not that he did anything wrong but it did give JJ a 2nd chance and the back door victory.

That's racin'!! Johnson came out of nowhere and did what champions do when things mattered.

Classy Carl gave it his best. I believe he made the right move to protect his spot from the 22.

For the 48 team, just shows that you should never give up.

Let's not forget to congratulate Kevin Harvick for winning the" driver who accumulates the most points without getting the trophy" award for the second year in a row.

You know the championships that Petty and Earnhardt share.

They all did a great job but just remember, if you're not 1st ( YIPPE!!!! JIMMIE #48) then you lost!!!

Edwards showed what a class act is, going to his competitors pit box and apologizing and taking full responsibility even though it was just racing, instead of acting like a petulant child and blaming everyone else.

He is a shining example that some others should emulate!
