I do not think his season is done yet, but it is in trouble. He has had a terrific car in more than a couple races this year. However, accidents, flats, etc, have ruined a number of very good runs.

Yet, a string of top 5's, maybe a win or two, and he is going to rocket up the points standings. He is currently 24th, 96 points back of 10th place, with 15 races to go before the chase.
