Yeah I thought Sammy had one it a few years back, as I remember he had a square tank on the car...

Yeah, it was a little "unconventional". The theory is with a square tank more fuel sits lower, so the weight is better distributed over the rear end which will help handling - especially when the track gets slick.

That's the theory anyway. Does it really work? I don't know. You can't argue with success though.
