I'd like to think this will send a signal to Kurt, but I'm not holding my breath. It's the second time he's been canned for being an immature, whiny, belligerent jackass.
Kyle needs to get the same message from Joe Gibbs Racing.
Not to sure if this is just a "message" for Kurt. He may find it difficult to get a ride with the sponsers finally stepping up and having a say. Money is to hard to come by and the sponsers are getting harder to find so the car owners are doing their best to make those sponsers happy! Times they are a changin'!
He'll become Penske's number two driver instead of the number four driver at Roush.
And he would be a good representative for Pennzoil.
David does good work for his sponsors as well as being active in the community. I have never heard an unkind word from his mouth.
A driver doesn't have to win 5 or 10 races a year to be a good PR person for the sponsor. Sure, it helps to see the car battling up front and getting TV time and David has done that a lot this past year.
And he might just learn a few things from Kez to make him even more competitive.
David and his crew chief at Roush were just getting it together this year. I think David will be even better for the new season as long as he has good support from his crew and good equipment.
Did Kurt flipp off our esteemed First Lady at Homestead? If so, I am a huge fan of Kurt!
