From a results perspective I understand why RPM would want Kurt. That being said I personally think he should have to endure driving for a lesser-funded team like Front Row Motorsports or James Finch to really let the consequence of his actions sink in.
I can't wait to see him in the 43. I really hope he gets the ride.
Sure the guy uses colorful language and has been seen throwing a hissyfit in an out of context video message. But his actions are all focused at his team and some people linked to the sport, not at the fans or competitors. This is unlike his brother who thumbs his nose at everyone and everything.
The guys got talent. More important is that perception is reality. I'm glad Loomis sees it and will give him a chance to straighten his act up and drive a competitive car. If he screws that up, well so be it.
I wouldn't mind seeing him in a 3rd Petty car and if he screws up verbally let him go. Almindinger has shown promise and I hate to see him lose his ride just to give Bush another chance.
I agree Bush is a better driver but he is also a better driver than a lot of current cup drivers with rides. He probably does deserve a 3rd chance but if he screws that up he will be done forever relegated to a back marker truck ride.
