Some of the best racing anywhere starts a new season today!

MotoGP in Qatar, 3PM EDT on SPEED

With Italian Valentino Rossi moving to the Italian Ducati team and American Ben Spies moving up to a factory Yamaha, should be an interesting year

I'd vote for keeping Laguna and giving Austin the Indianapolis date if the track works out well. In my perfect world there'd be MotoGP one weekend and F1 the next, I figure I could just drink beer and listen to music in between.

The new Austin track already has F1 on lock for 12 years. Maybe 2 years later, if the F1 racing is good and competitive, MotoGP could join up as an added date to Laguna Seca. Also dont forget about IRL/Cart, World SuperBike, World SuperSprot, and all the AMA divisions as well.

Cross your fingers!!

If it is maintained to F! demands it will quickly become a leading track for all road racing. Its not just F! that will race there that is for sure;at the cost of that track.

Go to F1 offical site and click on the link to see some images of what the facility will be like. Then go to the track site to see the 3D images of the tracks itself. God;the money is certainly being spent from what I see. Its called The circuit of the Americas. It announces that indeed MotoGP will be held there.

It should also be able to generate substantial income from track rentals to manufacturers, tuners, car clubs, etc.
