I watched some of the drag racing that came on after the Nationwide race yesterday. Was that a normal sized crowd in the stands? Just didn't seem to be very many people there.
Question - Why do the announcers state the time as a 4.21 with an eight instead just saying a 4.218 (four point two one eight)? Is it for the dramatic effect?

It's qualfying, and often at drag races you'll find almost as many people in the pits at times as are in the stands. One of the beauties of drag racing, a ticket gives you pit access.

E-town has a beer garden. if you buy a beer there you have to stay in the garden until your finished. The beer garden is very crowded.
Love NHRA Product however its tough to view live here in Eastern Canada,We used to have a Grand National event here in Montreal but For some reason they moved our race to Kansas City some 15yrs ago, now our only option is Englishtown or Reading, both of which are 8hr drives which means you make the drive on Friday watch great racing all day Saturday and do the drive home on Sunday.
Hey NHRA i got a great idea and i guarantee a packed house, how about bringing racing back to Montreal or at least Toronto.
Really enjoyed Reading last fall but the drive is long and the weekend becomes expensive.

Well, there'll be Epping NH next year. How will that work out for folks in Toronto and Montreal?

Thats good news for the length of the drive as it brings it down to a little under 5 hours from Montreal, still going to be the same game plan of drive there Friday and return on Sunday.
Thanks for the heads up ..
