Anyone here Run Linux?

I'm just getting started with linux and went with the Ubuntu Disto. So Far I really like it and really want to learn more.

So I was curious if there were any User Groups that met on any regular basis anyplace?

I run linux and Ububtu 9.4 or 10 depending on what puter I am on. Mr. work with puters and he likes linux the best. He suggested looking in the Ububtu forums to see if there is a local meet up group. Good luck!

Well there should be a Linux Users Group here:
http://www.linux.org/groups/ (file:///C:/home/Justin/My%20Dropbox/school/spring%202010/ME%203113%20-%20Measurements%20&%20Instrumentation/labs/strain%20gage%20lab/ - broken link)

And I'm pretty sure Ubuntu has their own list somewhere too but I can't locate it at the moment.

A good friend of mine has a blog for Linux folks - he's in the Austin area and runs a charity for kids - to give computers to kids that can't afford them - and he ONLY puts Linux on them and not Microsoft. He's a rebel!
