Yeah, what a misguided argument: "Save Austin's blighted parking lots!" "Stop building the big, scary buildings!".

Now, I do think it would be nice if Austin backed off the luxury condo activity for awhile. Maybe a few office buildings, some smaller mid-rise apartment buildings that are a bit more affordable to middle-class folks, and some public buildings like a new library and a new space for the Art museum. I also think some more downtown green spaces would be great for the next phase of downtown development.

Great stuff! I mean, just brilliant. And now, The Austonian is fully completed on the exterior, adding yet another new dimension to the skyline. It'll be incredible at night, too.
