My wife went there at lunch time today and said it was ridiculously crowded. The line for the register looked like it was an hour long so she just left.

It's right next to the Gateway Whole Foods.

Maybe this is a sign about the economy really picking up again in Austin. I still can't find a good parking place at Costco on the weekends and that Whole Foods parking lot was already bad. I'm sure the Nordstrom Rack will really pack that parking lot now.

Off of 360 in the old Linens and Things building (I believe). Just opened this morning, and I believe my fiancee took some time to visit during lunch today. I'm sure that I'll get to hear all about it this evening.

Mark: Just received the same call, she pulled in the parking lot and left immediately.

I wish I had never seen this post.

I have not been to the one here (didn't know it was open!), but I have been to the one in San Antonio and there were some really really good deals to be had. That one heavily discounted a lot of the designer labels. I'm sure it's the same with all the Rack stores.

The last few times I went to the one up in Lynwood (just north of Seattle) I was really disappointed. They had less stuff coming from the stores post season and more cheap stuff bought especially for the Rack.

Okay, I'll rephrase. Did anyone have the patience to park or pay? Sounds like it's crowded.

I did....and it was AWESOME.....
The lines weren't bad at all and they had a ton of great stuff. I love the Rack, so much beter than the Neiman's outlet.

That raffle looked rigged. That speech looked rehearsed.
