Possible relo to Austin area.

Looking for nice, newer communities with excellent school systems, easy access to shopping and the airport.

Any suggestions or advice would be welcomed

Price range? Where you'd likely be commuting to on a daily basis for work? What do you like to do when you're not working? Have you zeroed in on Georgetown/Round Rock or are you open to other suggestions? Those answers will all help point you in the right direction.

I'm looking for a home between 350-400K; 3500+sq ft; pool or community with pool.
I work from home but travel so I would like to be less than 40 minutes from the airport with traffic.
I'm open to suggestions
Thanks

Less than 40 minutes to the airport...I'd go with Round Rock.

Definitely Round Rock. Georgetown is at the far end of that commute (I take SH 130 to the airport from about 15 minutes north of the north entrance at the north edge of Georgetown, and it takes me 1 hour exactly (give or take a minute or two) from my front door to the airport entrance. So Georgetown would be about40-45 minutes from the airport.

There are some quite nice homes in your price range in Round Rock currently available on the MLS, 7 of them with pools. Most of them in RRE (Forest Creek and such, nice neighborhoods, zip code 78664), a couple in RRW (also nice neighborhoods, zip code 78681). You can look for those zip codes on Realtor.com or austinhomesearch.com and get an idea of what's available.

Not sure what "newer community" means to you, but I plugged in 1999 as the "built since" date and got 47 hits in both areas.
