Downtown to RoundRock in the morning
RoundRock back to the city at night

Times? Is it much easier than into the sity and out at night?

Gracias!

Oh you bet. MoPac is no problem. I-35 at night isn't bad at all either. But I-35 is always bristling with aggression regardless of time of day

At around 5:15 - 6 (and maybe other times as well, I don't know), I-35 is HELL from 2222 to downtown & beyond. So is Mopac, come to think of it. The mornings (8 - 8:30) aren't TOO bad although Mopac is MUCH better than I-35. I don't have any experience of anything north of 2222, however.

Downtown north to about 51st can be congested, then it opens up but can bog down again closer to Round Rock, lots of people make that commute up to Dell, it is hard to call it reverse commuting. Evening commute tends to be tougher than the morning.

I do not think that the "reverse commute" is that much better, plenty of people live central or south but work in Round Rock. But depending where you are coming from, either commute may be better than you are expecting. I drive I-35 every morning and rarely have a problem or find much aggression either. I think that the most frustrating part for many people is the struggle to get on I-35, there are lengthy lights, tricky lanes and delays at place like Palmer, I have an easy route on, so I'm not stressed out before I enter the highway.

Well if you have to go through downtown either way you will hit traffic.
But it's much lighter traffic leaving the city then coming into the city in the mornings.

Mopac is not bad at all, especially if you take the toll road. However I-35 is always bad regardless.
