I had an insurance plan for a year that did give you discounts for going to the gym (they checked your 'swipes'), losing/maintaing wait, and going to the Dr. for checkups. It was good, in theory, but the particular company had horrible serivce and our company dropped em after a year.....

Dell does give incentives for healthy living. I think you can get up to $300 a year, per adult on the plan, for answering surveys and other things, regarding health and wellness.

Just a little aside because some people are talking about out of shape people, I had a roommate who was in great shape, skinny thing, and she had diabetes so overweight people aren't the only ones who suffer problems. Also know a lady who looked to be in great shape who had a stroke....

I am sure to be pulled over for being OT, but there are 2 types of diabetes. One is adult onset, brought about by smoking, excess weight and under moving. The other is genetic diabetes. You can't prevent that one.
Anyone can have a stroke, did she survive it? If she did, it's probably because she was in good shape.
