The cop was an idiot. Apparently he has a reasonable work history so far. So don't fire him for one incident. But he deserves a suspension and reprimand.

The kids did nothing wrong and didn't endanger anyone.

Yet Leander ISD is trying to find some way to punish the kids, even though there isnt anything specific in their Code Of Conduct that states what happened is at all a punishable act.

And people wonder why "kids today" don't play outside.

At the state high school football game, I bet kids and fans run onto the field if it isn't in Cowboys stadium.

Why not a small group of soccer fans?

It is my understanding the there were no less than 4 announcements made at the game to not go on the field - this was before the end of the game and before people actually went on the field. I think that's why they are trying to punish them - for ignoring the rules of the field and the announcements.
