Howdy!

The commercials on TV pronounce it Odd-ee. That's good enough for me. So, ow to you.

How many people can speak a foreign language and sound exactly like a native speaker? Ah shucks.

Indeed, I mean German TV pronounces Colgate like "Coll-gaw-tee" https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikiped...lmolive_DT.ogg

As long as you know what is meant, it is fine.

I just want to make sure y'all are pronouncing Audi correctly.

If you say something like ODD-ee or AH-dee, go to the back of the line and do not even discuss this vehicle!

If you say something like OW-dee (slightly different if you are fluent in German, which I am), you can hang around and play.

That's all.

Have a nice day.

I rhyme Audi with 'Howdee' Partner!

My old man pronounced it 'Aww-dee' - as in audio.

Let's throw some British English in it...

AUDI = unreliable rub·bish ˈ[rəbiSH]

"Im Audi, man fahrt schnell!"
"In an Audi, you fart rapidly!"

"BMW [beh-um-veh]: absteig und geh!"
"BMW: get off and walk!"
