I may be relocating to the Atlanta area for a job in Alpharetta. I have family in West Cobb (Kennesaw) and would prefer to live close to them.

I am a frequent visitor to the area and am familiar with its traffic woes, but I'm not very familiar with the Kennesaw to Alpharetta commute.

If I live in Kennesaw, would I be setting myself up for a total nightmare of a commute, or are their a few good alternates to the I-75/I-285/GA 400 route?

Thanks so much.

There are no alternatives, other than backroads, which everyone is already using. Depending on where you're starting and ending, you'd easily be looking at an hour+ commute- could be much longer.
