Moving to the Atlanta Area (Macon, Griffin: apartment complex, neighborhoods, to live)

Hello all, I am looking for the following information to help my relocation from Baltimore back to Georgia go more smoothly.

1) I am in need of a non-denomination or baptist church (preferrably an African American Church, but I'm open to a mixed/diverse church). I like a pastor who teaches and doesn't do all of that hooping and hollering. In addition, I am looking for a place where my gifts/talents can be used, as I play the flute.

2) I am looking for an apartment complex in a good neighborhood that is decently priced. I would like to live near gas stations, restaurants, and local strips (not strip clubs---strips like boutiques or shops) Lol

3) I will most likely be working in Griffin GA, so please shed light on hip neighborhoods that may be near by or within a short distance.

I'm a 30 year old, african american woman that wants to be near hip areas without having to be fearful of being in danger.

that's a tall order... griffin's a good 40 miles from atlanta, and more of the "hip" areas are inside 285.

I don't think there is anything near Griffin that matches anything near hip. At that point you are almost equidistant to Macon.
