Haiti was sick of the French, so the blacks decided to KILL EVERY WHITE PERSON there until all the whites left. (so Haiti got their 'black mecca'), . . . and where did it get them. great standard of living now.
Detroit mayor Coleman Young was on NATIONAL TV, saying, "We dont need no f**king whites in Detriot !" and the running the whites out of town, and along with some economic factors, . . .and what have you in Detriot.
The intelligent educated Blacks very much ENJOY living in a diverse community WITH WHITES, (like Marietta or Kennesaw).
So they should bury this MECCA nonsense along with the "N" word.

Atlanta's black population has certainly exploded in the last 40 years but hasn't the white population also exploded at roughly the same rate?

Within the city limits of Atlanta proper, I'd have to guess that the black population has stayed about the same or decreased somewhat since 1970.

Which raises an interesting question. White flight is often said to be a major cause for the decentralization of American cities. But to what degree has black flight been a factor in that? If I'm not mistaken nearly 100% of the growth in Atlanta's black population has been in the suburbs.

This is one of the most ignorant posts in this thread. You obviously don't have the slightest clue as to why Atlanta is known as a Black mecca, but it's very telling that you feel threatened and offended by just the term. Atlanta will continue to be known as a Black mecca for years, maybe even decades, to come. You need to educate yourself and deal with it and quit with the unwarranted hostility.
