moving to atlanta question (neighborhood, good schools, gated)

reading a thread earlier on someone who is looking for an all white neighborhood worries me a bit im from fla trying to get mt family away from all the foolishness and i read that thread! wow i need to know wher they move to so i can stay away! im hispanic and wifey is african american married 17yrs have 5 children of various ages 16,15,10,9,7 and we are looking for good schools and very family oriented place to live where kids trick or treat for halloween and neighbors are in the holiday spirit! what cities does anyone recommend? price range 170,000-225,000 i dont want to go where im looked at or treated like an outcast we get enough of that hear in miami,fl

the suburbs of DC except you won't get that price range, unfortunately unless you're very far out. But the diversity factor is huge in DC and not an issue.

Nor is it here. Most of the suburbs of Atlanta far more resemble the U.N. than any segregated enclaves of any one type of background. There are exceptions of course, just like any major city.
