I'm looking to move to Conyers from the western U.S. How does Conyers compare to other areas around Atlanta as far as taxes, safety and home re-sale values? Any help is appreciated.

My neighbor moved out of Conyers 6 months ago, and took a loss on their house due to a bad element moving in. I did not question exactly what she meant,, but you should look into it.,

I lived in Conyers and think it is awful. Really it wasn't bad 15 years ago, but it was not planned well and now congestion, crime, etc is a real issue. The schools have really gone down as well. Why are you looking at Conyers? There are many other nice areas of the state.
