I'm looking for info on the area between Cleveland Ave and Holcomb Ave. Is this area a decent place? Is there any shopping close by such as grocery stores and drug stores? I saw that it's not that far from the MARTA, so what is that area like?

Default Cleveland Avenue in East Point

Cleveland Avenue is the 'seediest' section in East Point--Lots of gang members who are proudly proclaim to be ROC 'raised on Cleveland'...You don't want to be there. Try the main street area or Jefferson Park area.

I live in a townhouse in East Point and pay no water and less than $100 a month for utilities [electric]--but safety can be a concern here depending on where you choose to live. Good luck in the city.

Default Welcome to the Woods

I lived in College Park, at the intersection of I-85 South and I-285 for 6 years. I have just moved out of Georgia for Massachusetts.
Trust me, I would not advice you to live in East Point. It is too ghetto. If you are just looking to live around a shopping area; you might want to look at either Union City or Morrow. You can also move North Atlanta area, though it is a little expensive.
Good Luck.

I'm also looking to relocate in the East Point area. Does anyone have any information about the North area of East Point? Specifically the Clermont Ave just south of Langford Pkwy. Thanks
