Man, so he'd get a 10 year ban if he's deported. He'd be fine either way but his children are over here and that would be the only inconvenience. He does have family in the UK but I don't know if getting a work visa would be easy for him to get if he does get sent away (seeing that he still does a lot in ATL).

Just out of curiosity, do the kids live with their mom?

ICE is ****ed up and so are some of y'all's priorities if you think deporting 21 is a good use of federal resources.
What no one is talking about he's a father of 3 kids, so this situation is basically splitting him away from his family

Also while he has criminal history, but he also in engaged in charities and given back to the community. So a lot people in this thread are judging him by the man he was and not who he became over the past few years.

US Rep Hank Johnson is supporting 21 Savage and praised his work in the community.
Quote:
Johnson’s letter acknowledges straight away that Abraham-Joseph is not a U.S. citizen, but says the father of three is an exemplary citizen nonetheless.

“He spends his time giving back to the community and supporting and promoting the betterment of our youth,” the letter reads. “He has been an outstanding figure and influence within his family and within Atlanta.”/

Seems like he has a lot of heavy hitters on his side, so I suspect that some sort of resolution is at hand.

Here's an interesting coincidence of which I was not aware.

Work visa where? UK? He's a citizen, can work immediately.

That's not acceptable, just as it wasn't acceptable for IRS workers to target conservative groups. The rules should be applied equally and justly.

I'm starting to think that instead of $5 billion for a wall it should be spent getting all of the existing visa overstayers out first.

I do think release on a bond is appropriate. Not sure it should be own recognizance if he's worth millions, but definitely he should be able to be let out. No reason why he can't work and tend to his family, and this is a public enough case that he would definitely show up at an immigration hearing.

But all the letter does is recommend that. Until his lawyer decides which option he's going to pursue with a visa there's nothing else that can be done. And nothing is a slam dunk. FYI - USCIS does look at social media, etc. of a prospective immigrant, or at least they have the right to do so.

If he's deported to the UK, would he be able to get a work visa back to the US within those 10 years?

Also, this thing may just get cleared up

City data 18, I think the kids live with him. I guess Abraham-Joseph's (21) mother probably helps.
